Wrapped up

We wrapped up the boat launch season on September 7th, a week earlier than we wanted to, because of mechanical troubles. Both skidders kind of went pbbbttthhh so we did as good as we could for 2 days, then decided we couldn't risk damaging them any more. So we closed early. It was a really bad weather week so we wouldn't have bad any business any way. It was a good season, it didn't go as we had hoped, but we did good for our first year and for the economy being in the state it is. We're well set up for next year. It'll be a tight winter, but if Justin can get a job up on the slope, or somewhere, we'll be able to keep everything going until next spring when we open again.
Other than that, not much is new. Our littlest goats are very sick, we're not sure why. Today we had to give them vitamin b shots. Not sure what's going on, but the poor little guys are pretty weak.
We've just been resting, and trying to get everything wrapped up from the boat launch this week. Hopefully this week I'll be able to get back to making cards for sale, and scrapbooking. There's a bunch of appointments for this week though, so we'll see. Anyway, here's our update. :)

What do you mean the baby goats are all sick? I thought just Lucy got sick and I thought she was getting better. Darn. I wonder if it is too cold for them at night? I hope they get better soon. I know how you feel about losing more baby goats. Love you
